Worker Awareness Program in Agro-Food Processing Unit, Nashik
A worker awareness program was conducted in Nashik, Maharashtra on March 16, 2024. The facility is an agro-food processing unit that sources whole fruit (Pomegranate) from their farms (Supply chain) process and supply the same further in the domestic and international market. 90% of the workers are females and we (Adivision Association – Volunteer team) tried our best to raise their awareness level by explaining various principles of modern slavery. -“Write a title for this description
Awareness Program at Pomegranate Farm, Andhra Pradesh
A worker awareness program was conducted in the agro-farm in Sompalli Village, Mulakalacheruvu Mandal, Chittoor Dist, Andhra Pradesh on April 13, 2024. This is a Pomegranate farm that is spread across 100 acres of land.They produce and supply whole fruits (pomegranates) to their clients (mainly in Hyderabad area). Where the fruits are processed and further supplied in Indian and international markets.Our objective is to make sure that the workers are aware about all these points so that they do not face and overlook any such violations that could harm their own survival due to lack of awareness
